Your 2 baby!

My gorgeous little cousin is 2 on Friday - I just can't believe where those 2 years have gone???!!! He is no longer a baby but a cute little toddler. Anyway, here is the card I made for him - really loved making this card and quite chuffed with it!

I am still using up 'me scraps - got a loooong way to go till they are gone LOL!!

I cut the number 2 on my Cricut using the new housing and blade for thicker materials (which is just sooo cool!!) and cut it out of chipboard and used the Swiss Dots embossing folder on the cardstock.
Isn't Edwin so cute?! He was sitting on a pencil and I cut the pencil away so he could sit on the number 2, he looks so like my cute cousin.

I am working on my Design Team project for Nikki at DewDrop Craftz and I am halfway there, this one really was a challenge!!
I have another card to show you tomorrow but I now have a date with . . . . . . . . my bed! It is feeling like a long week plus I am trying to get organised and make things for an upcoming school fair. Please can someone tell me where I can order some time??????

CBC Weekend Challenge no. 5 (Invitation)

The next challenge is to make a Invitation.

It can be for any event you like, it could be for coffee/wedding/party/Christmas dinner/New Years party.

THIS MUST INCLUDE TEXTURED CARD/PAPER

I made this for my Mum, guess where we're going! LOL!!

Tag was cut from chipboard and added scrummy Junkitz Love Line paper on both sides, I sanded and inked the edges, I then used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding letters, added lots of Ribbons, the 'Who, What, Where & When' is a stamp by Melissa Frances, then I added a cute button and Prima Flowers and brads.

CBC Weekend Challenge no. 4 (Christmas Card No.2)

Next up:
Make your second Challenge Fold Christmas card, instructions are HERE

YOU MUST HAVE EMBOSSING ON IT
ALSO IT MUST BE A COLOURED CARD

The PP was from my scraps file, can't remember who it is by though?! i think it is BG? The cute little image stamp is by Papermania , I matted it and inked the edges. I then punched out a scallop circle and embossed it with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and added a Prima Flower and a little cut heart brad. The stamped greeting is by Autumn Leaves.

CBC Weekend Challenge no. 3 (Place Names)

Next one was Place Names:

Just what you need for the table at Christmas (PLACE NAMES)
They don't need to be for CHRISTMAS they can be for any occasion.
They can be any design you like but,
YOU MUST MAKE AT LEAST 4

Well, we are having all the family round here this Christmas but not sure how many there will be so I have made 4 and will add as to know how many we have coming. To make the place card I used my new super fantastic Story Book Cricut Cartridge and for the snowflakes I used my Accent Essentials and used my crop-a-dile to make the little holes. I then took my small scallop punch and cut out 4 little circles, inked the edges and added the Christmas brads and added them to the snowflakes. On the other side I stuck a band of dotted ribbon and punched out a larger circle scallop, inked the edges and raised on foam pads, I will then add the names once I know who is coming!

CBC Weekend Challenge no. 2 (Christmas Card No.1)

The next challenge was to make a Challenge Fold Christmas Card.

Make a Challenge fold Christmas card.
Instructions are HERE

IT MUST INCLUDE ONE OF THESE WORDS ON THE FRONT
MERRY GREETINGS SEASONS
ALSO MUST BE A COLOURED CARD

Again, using more scraps of Sugar Dumpling paper (just love it SO much but the scraps are getting less, YAY!!), a stamp from my Stampin' Up! BoHo backgrounds and the Merry Christmas is a Papermania stamp. I also made a closure on it with a couple of eyelets and the ribbon so the greeting can stay private ;o)

CBC Weekend Challenge no. 1 (Key Ring)

Over on Crafts by Carolynthis weekend there is a BIG challenge going on, 19 challenges in all and is hosted by H!

The first challenge is:

I would like you to make a Key Ring,
this can be made with a plastic key fob bought from a crafty shop or
you could alter one you have already.
Or even just use layers of a cereal packet stuck together with a eyelet
at the top with a hoop.

YOU MUST USE A STAMPED IMAGE
OR IF YOU DON'T OWN A STAMP
YOU CAN USE A PRINTED IMAGE

Here is what I came up with

I cut out a chipboard tag and covered it in Blonde Moments Sugar Dumpling paper that was in my scraps file and stamped on one side with one of the Laura Ashely stamps and added Tattered Rose Glimmer Mist (which you can just about see!) and on the other side I misted it with the Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist and addedd a couple of Primas and a brad.
