Just my luck! I'm on holiday for over a week and of all weeks it has to rain (even the possibility of SNOW, how I hate that word)!!!!!! Oh well, nothing for it than to hide away in my craft room :)
Today I am revealing the cards I made for Cleo Crafts April Kit. The kit is seriously yummylicious!!! If you fancy a kit for under a tenner that includes all the latest paper line's and embellishments then head on over here!!
Right, off for some lunch and then back to crafting... wish I could have a week off ever week ;)
I can't believe where the last 6 months have gone!!??!! Christmas was a busy time of year for us, away for New Year then planning for my BIG 3-OH birthday party (which still hasn't happened) then just before my birthday my mum quite seriously ill in the beginning of Jan and it really has been one thing after another and it took it's tole on me, I've been off sick the last week with a horrible flu thing. Anyway the other week I set down to make this:
My FIRST Bind-it-all album!!! I've had my BIA for a couple of years but could never get to grips with it but I set down and had a play.
I remembered seeing a post years ago about a memory jar & journal on http://www.craftsbycarolyn.co.uk/ and thought this was the perfect thing to make for my Mum for Mother's Day. The reason being she had a seizure and she lost her memory for a while (fully re-gained now, thank you Lord!) You fill the jar with little questions regarding their life and they write it down in the journal, e.g. things about their wedding, their years growing up, favourite school subjects etc... The best thing is I shall be able to look through the journal in later years and have something special!
Here's the card that went along with it, the papers used is the name of my mum :)
Louise & Tara at Cleo Crafts have the October kit up for grabs on their site. It's such a fun, fun, fun kit, I just love the monster paper!
Here's a glimpse of what's included in the kit:
And here are my cards from which I made from the kit.
It's such a great buy and at only £9.99 you can't go wrong! Also within the kit you get instructions on how to make the cards I made above and also the super-talent Leann's cards - visit Leann's blog here.
Got back yesterday from our holiday in Ireland. Not much of a holiday as my mum was quite poorly all the time we were there, I need a holiday to get over this one but relieved to have today off from work to just chill. We did manage a couple of trips out at the very end and one trip was to Cookstown to go and visit Doodle Craft, it was so lovely and full of lovely things. I bought a couple of stamps and a new trimmer.
