G'day!

Hello, I'm still here, I've just got back from Australia (well 2 weeks ago but it has taken me that much time to catch up on things in the real life!) My cousin in Australia got married so I popped over for the wedding, it was just such a happy beautiful occasion, she looked absolutely gorgeous and I am so glad that I got to witness it. I will share some pictures with you soon.

Before I left it was my turn to set the Blog Challenge at DewDrop Craftz but unfortunately time wasn't on my side due to packing so I wasn't able to share the challenge on my blog. The challenge that I set was 'Anything but a card' and this was my take on it:

Unfortunately I was away for the next challenge which was 'It's a mans world...' but head on over to the blog and take a look at my Team Members samples and the entries.

The latest challenge was set by Adele and is a colour challenge using the colours of Blue and Green...

Nikki has just released some gorgeous new stamps designed by Sally - Ann Hancock from Grab-A-Doodle-Do! I was sent the cupcake stamp just before I went on my hol's so I was itching to use it by the time I got back. Although this is a simple card to make it is really effective. I will back with some more cards soon.
I hope everyone in the UK is having a great bank holiday weekend, I have spent mine doing the gardening and housework....!!!

I've had a chance to play....

Here are a couple of cards that I made recently.

It was my little cousins birthday the other week and he is mad on pirates at the moment so I was commissioned to make him a pirate themed card by his mum so I popped over to Grab-A-Doodle-Do where Sally-Ann has the most adorable downloads and I bought Josh - Collection 1, 6 gorgeous images for only £1.99 - amazing! They come pre-coloured so when you're in a rush and also black outline for you to colour in!

You know you're old when...

I just love these stamps by Gina K> Designs
This card was for a cousin of mine in Australia who has a VERY good sense of humour. I just love these stamps as they really sooo funny!

I can't believe how the time has flown since I have last blogged! Things have been busy here and I have had to focus on some things and let other things take a break.
I was forced to take a day off work on Friday as our buses were suspended!! Grr!! So, I went around our village and took a few snaps. Here are a couple of the ones I like.

A snow dog - not mine unfortunately!!

Here's me!! My mum took this one of me and I just love it!

I have been working on one or two items for DewDrop Craftz but you'll have to wait to see them.

2 Quick Cards

Hello Bloggers!

Thank goodness that it is Thursday tomorrow then it will be FRIDAY - YAY!! I have gone back to work this week after being poorly and I am coming home exhausted! I forgot how tiring work can be ;o) So, I am looking forward to a weekend of lie-in's and not waking up at 6am and just chilling out. We may go and see the new-ish film Australia, SO can't wait to see it!!

Anyway, onto more important matters.

Here are a couple of quick cards I made for my cousins birthday, both of them are in their 90's so thought I would go with the vintage/elegant look!

The circle stamp is from this amazing company in the US, they have no cart system but you just email them your order and they send you a PayPal invoice, they are so helpful and friendly and the stamps came ever so quickly - I can't recommend them enough! The range of stamps are lovely too.....

Well, I am off to bed now to get an early night, thanks for visiting!
