CBC: Challenge 6 – Crafty Storage Ideas

We need a picture of your favourite storage item can be shop bought or made. The catch here is the item must NOT be purpose built – ie a paper rack for paper nah thats just not on we need clever crafty ideas

Here's my favourite storage item minus the cakes :O(

A cute little place for my ickle ink pads, acrylic paints and 'wot not's' ;O)

Challenge 5 – A Template

The uber talented Sue gave us a template to get our creative juices flowing.

... this was my take on it.

Stamps by SU! and Gina K. Designs

CBC: Challenge 4 – Round & Round

Next Sue wanted us to create a card with at least FIVE!! circles on it.

I had to have a little think about this one and after a rummage through my paper rack, I found the perfect paper and I already had some gorgeous images stamped out which are by the lovely Nikki at DewDrop Craftz , I wanted something bright, funky and retro looking.

CBC: Challenge 3 – A project

A MATCH BOOK

... here is the start of mine!

Mine is going to be based on piccies of my mum and me, we are so close I know that she will treasure it :O)
Excuse the American spelling, more often or not I actually call her 'ma' (bit of the Bristolian lingo coming out in me LOL!

CBC: Challenge Two - something new

The next challenge was this:

Look around your craft space – select your NEWEST item and make something with it how easy is that?

Well I am so lucky I had lots to choose from!

My mum's birthday is just over a couple of weeks time so I am using these challenges to make her things as I have bought her main present which is tickets to see Cliff at the BIA in November - can't wait to be singing "We're all going on a summer holiday..." LOL!!!

New papers from S.E.I Morning Meadow
Album by Maya Road
Chipboard embellishents by K&Company

EDIT: For some reason blogger doesn't want to upload the R 'page' so I will try again in the morning. Night :O)

Changes

What a gorgeous week we have had although I have spent most of it inside but I am on the road to recovery, won't bore you with the details.

I have done a bit of tweaking to my blog today and made myself a new banner in PSE. I am so chuffed with it as it is the first one I have ever done. I just love the colours.
This is where I got the elements from: Shabby Princess

For those who do visit my blog I have changed my blog address (much shorted than before ;O) )

Hope your all having a good weekend.

HS:MS - Strings

Strings: A slender cord or thick thread used for binding, tying or playing. Have you got strings?

I really couldn't be bothered getting the old violin down from the loft but didn't know what else we had so thought I might have to miss this only until I was taking a picture of my card below and looked up and saw this plaque we have got with all different knots in it.

So here is my take on the prompt - with only minutes to go - sheesh, nothing like the last minute!!

Water, Water everywhere!

There's a challenge over on Crafts by Carolyn and the prompt was this:
So the theme of the project can be anything water related, it does not necessarily have to have water on it - but must include something that is associated with water...

Here is my take on it.

Ingredients

Stamp: Penny Black 'Tender Showers'
CS: DCWV
Brads & buttons from stash

I coloured in the image with Prismas & Gamsol

Thanks for looking :O)

2 challenges in 1 + HS:MS: Spectacles

This card is based on the dare from The Daring Cardmakers
Hi it's Keryn here and it's my turn to Distress you all, or at least your cards with this weeks dare. You can make a card for any season, any holiday, any occaision but you need to use either a fingernail, curled edges, sandpaper, tearing, anything you like really as long as looks like it's had a fair bit or wear and tear.
and also the sketch for Mojo Monday

Ingredients:
Stamps: Maggie & wee dug from Funky Kits & Warm Wishes by SU!
PP: DCWV - Fare east (not sure about the spotty one but if anyone recognises it could you let me know please.)
Blooms: Prima
Ribbon: American Crafts

I coloured Maggie and wee dug with Prismas and Gamsol.

Now onto HS:MS
The prompt today: Spectacles - Eyewear for those why are Myopic, Hyperopic, Photophobic and for those who are plain old shopperholic! Which one are you?

After looking up what a couple of those meant I am definitely Myopic (known to me as short sighted)!

Now, my glasses and myself have a love/hate relationship, I mean I would be lost without them when it comes to reading and looking at stuff far away, but they sure are a nuisance plus I keep loosing them!!!!!

Off to blog hop, hope your having a good evening ;O)
