Woo Hoo!!! I have just been given my first ever Blog Award by Heidi who has just found my blog - thank you so much hun! I am chuffed to bits!

Oh My Goodness!!!!

What a GREAT couple day's!

Yesterday morning I went to Craft Central to grab a bargain or 2, well I did more than that and got ALL THIS!!!

Then I had my cousins over and helped the little one make a Christmas card for his mummy & daddy and then in the evening we (parents & I) went to the Panto and saw Cinderella with Mickey Rooney, Michelle Collins & Bobby Davro - what a hillarious evening, Bobby had us in stitches from the very first word he spoke. We finished the night with takeaway chips - yum!

Then today I was meant to be going to a friends birthday party but woke up not feeling so great so this afternoon I was feeling better and was very tempted to go back to Craft Central - I worked it out that because I won't be going there again I might as well go back for the very last time :sob: plus it will be my birthday in a few weeks ;o)

I came home with this small lot ;o) LOL!!

Some of the items in the pics will be for my mums christmas present but I haven't decided what except for the ribbons and purple organiser.

You can click on the pics to see it bigger!

Hope everyone had a good weekend and it isn't long till Santa wooo hooo!!!

Naughty or nice??

Well I've been naughty but it was very nice.....!!

Every Christmas I always treat myself to a little pressie and this year I bought myself a Sewing Machine!! But not one of those all singing all dancing great big ones which scares the life out of me but this cute little diddy one!!

Now I have never been THAT great at sewing, I had a miserable Textiles teacher at school which I think was the core of the problem so I intend to overcome this fear. I would love to one day make myself a quilt but I reckon I will be old and grey when I will be able to master that!!!!

I was tempted after seeing the blog posts of this very clever lady. Jody has been sharing her tutorials of this wonderful machine so when I get a quite hour over the holidays (yeah right!) I intend to sit down with this beauty and start-a-stitching. I have lots of ideas whizzing round in my head already....!

DCM Dare: 10 minute card

Thought I would have a go at the lastest DCM Dare as I am short on time and needed to get some cards made.

Here is the dare

Just in case you hadn't noticed, Christmas is just around the corner - less than two weeks to go now!
So as we hurtle headlong towards the big day we thought we'd help you out just a little bit with those last minute cards.
Every year we find ourselves needing a few extra cards, even when we thought we'd got plenty, so this dare is all about super-quick Christmas crafting.
We want to see cards that take only a few minutes, but of course don't look it!
Make just one, or see how many you can make in an hour it's up to you.
On your marks.... get set......Go Go Go

And here are my cards:

Sorry about the rubbish photos but I was in a hurry, even the glue was still wet when I took them lol but it had dried clear before I put them in the envies. I did about 6 in less than an hour so well pleased with that!

Sneaky Peek

Thought I would share with you a sneaky peek of a card I have done for DewDrop Craftz this month.

All will be revealed soon ;o)

Feeling bleugh

I've been poorly the last couple of days with the horrible tummy virus that is sweeping the country so everything I have needed and wanted to do has been delayed. I'm feeling a bit better now but not 100%.
Anyway I have a few things to share with you.

This is a card that I made for my cousins 30th birthday

The next couple of items are what I made with the stamps that Nikki sent me. We had to make something other than a card with these cute mushrooms. I got to play with Ria & Gino with my new Copic markers. These little guys are just so much fun to work with!

My first project was this little chalkboard which I purchased from eBay and tarted it up!

For my next project I made a cute address book. I bought the address book in WHSmith's sale ages and ages ago and I wanted to alter it sometime and this was the perfect opportunity. Sorry, I forgot to take a before picture.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate any visits I get. Please leave me a comment so I can say hello :)

Feeling Chritmassy?

Well you should do after this little video, how awesome is this house?

Less blogging = More crafting

That pretty sums up the last couple of weeks! I have a craft fair at a local school on Saturday which I can't attend now (but my mum is going to stand in my place) as my operation has been brought forward to tomorrow to have my wisdom teeth out!! Really not looking forward to it plus I have a rotten cold!!!!! :o(

Anyway, back on to lovely crafty things. I made this card for my cousin to give to the birthday boy (see post below).

Sorry about the photo, it was taken quickly as we were running late for the party! It features Charlie the monster from Nikki at DewDrop Craftz, such a fun little character!

Here is another card I made for my friend at work who is at any moment about to give birth!

I used Lola Rose from Pink Petticoat

Last but not least here are a couple of Design Team sneak peeks of a couple of projects I've done for Nikki.
